Christ taking Leave of his Mother
Christ took leave of, in other words said farewell to his mother, the Virgin Mary, shortly before his entry into Jerusalem and subsequent Passion.
This scene is not related in the Bible, but can be found in 14th-century texts such as 'Meditations on the Life of Christ' .
