Aelbrecht Bouts

Aelbrecht Bouts (living 1473; died 1549) was the second son of Dirk Bouts. He worked in Louvain.The most certain attribution to him is an 'Assumption of the Virgin' in Brussels, which shows the influence of Dirk Bouts and, more particularly, of Hugo van der Goes.
