The dome of S. Maria della Salute dominates this view. To the left are the Seminario and the Dogana da Mar; S. Gregorio and the campanile of S. Vio are on the right. There are several versions of this view by Guardi. This picture with its pendant, 'Venice: The Doge's Palace and the Molo' can be dated around 1770.
