An Angel Adoring

This picture is the fragment of a picture which perhaps represented the Virgin and Child with Saint John the Baptist, with angels in adoration. Another fragment of an angel (Strasbourg, Musée des Beaux-Arts) may be part of the same work.

At the bottom can be seen the top of a head, which may be that of the infant Christ or the young Saint John. There are also remains of drapery and limbs.
