Domenico Veneziano: 'Head of a Tonsured, Beardless Saint'

This head of a saint (now transferred to tile) as well as 'Head of a Tonsured, Bearded Saint' and 'The Virgin and Child Enthroned' (transferred to canvas) are the surviving parts of a street tabernacle in Florence. The two heads of saints are fragments from the sides of the tabernacle.
