The Madonna and Child with Saints

Saint Joseph, at the right, plays with the Christ Child. The unidentified saint at the left holds a martyr's palm and banner. Several other paintings by Licinio of this character are known (as, for example, one in the Uffizi, Florence).

The varnish is very much darkened and the painting is in need of repair.
