The church interior has not been identified. The painting was previously attributed to Pieter Neeffs the Elder, whose name, together with the date 1644, is inscribed on the wall tablet above the tomb on the right. However, the signature is false and the picture differs in style from Neeffs. It is possible that the date is genuine.
