Line of Vision offers young people at risk of exclusion opportunities to access the National Gallery’s collection, making their own creative responses to the paintings.
Line of Vision has a particular focus on young people who are not in full-time education. We work with a wide range of partners including:
- National Children’s Bureau
- The Place2Be
- Local authority children’s services
- Teenage pregnancy services
- Pupil referral units
Line of Vision projects
Projects can be scheduled during term-time and school holidays. They consist of a series of visits to the Gallery, during which participants discuss paintings and take part in practical workshop sessions.
Line of Vision enables vulnerable young people to experience the collection first-hand and experiment with a wide range of specialist art materials and techniques.
