The National Gallery is collaborating with Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication on 'Transcriptions: Sound’, an innovative new project which involves sound design students producing a three-minute response to a painting of their choice in the Gallery's collection.

From the sound artist:
Psyche sits alone in front of Cupid’s castle, having been abandoned by her lover. I use nature as a methaphor to express Psyche’s turmoil and to make reference to the original story, such as the wind blowing her in from the west, and finally her own state of mind becoming a whirlwind of confusion.
