The National Gallery is collaborating with the London Film School on 'Transcriptions: LFS Shorts', an innovative new project which involves second term students producing short 3-4 minute films inspired by the Gallery’s collection as part of their course.

I was interested in the theme of mourning in the painting, and I thought about Jesus, who died for the sins of humanity. I started playing around with the idea of mourning and sin, and came up with the story of a guy who lost his girlfriend to another guy.
