From the Film Maker
The tiger from the painting accidently jumps out into a contemporary city. This leads to a cultural clash of apocalyptic proportions between the urban jungle and the real jungle, between the tiger spirit and human nature. I was inspired by Rousseau’s way of painting in a dream-like state between real and surreal. The visual style is a play with 2D and 3D expression. The film is a celebration of the magnificent tiger and the dream of the jungle, all with a touch of 21st-century darkness. The film is still under development.
