From the film-maker:
My final project is inspired by Van Gogh's painting 'Chair'. I see the free spirit behind this simple and symbolic yellow chair. Van Gogh painted a companion piece, 'Paul Gauguin's Armchair' (Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam). The two paintings reflect the volatile relationship between the two painters, and the unfortunate outcome of their relationship in the Yellow House in Arles. So my idea stems from the background behind this painting. My story is about a lonely and strange man with his cat, who finally finds the passions of life.
