This particular painting was chosen because it sparked strong nostalgic feeling in me when I first saw it. A hot summer day in Mediterranean.
Special attention was therefore given to reflect that atmosphere from the painting in the backgrounds and in sound design.
After some further investigation I found some interested facts about the location of the painting. Many Gypsy still live and celebrate their culture near the town where the painting was painted.
Therefore make a story out of the painting I used that information and showed a moment in life of a Gypsy boy.
A moment that change his life forever!
