For a successful group visit to the National Gallery

Booking

• Book early (up to one term in advance) by telephoning the National Gallery's Education Department on 020 7747 2424
• Have alternative dates ready
• The Education Centre Sandwich Rooms can be also be booked when you book your visit
• Book transport after booking the visit

Timing

• Be punctual
• When you book allow plenty of time for your journey
• Limit your visit to two to two-and-a-half hours
• Leave before students have had enough!
• Combine your visit to the Gallery with a visit to a nearby destination

Arriving

• School and College groups should arrive at the Education Centre Entrance on Orange Street, at the rear of the Gallery
• Your guided tour lecturer will come to meet you in the Education Centre Foyer at the arranged time
