Peter Blake 1994-6
Born in 1932, Peter Blake was a student at the Royal College of Art in the early 1950s and along with fellow students such as David Hockney and RB Kitaj, played a crucial role in the emergence of Pop Art.
His work draws on a wide variety of sources, ranging from fairgrounds and comic books to more traditional images from the history of art.
