How can an artist's use of colour be recreated for film? Visitors to 'Making Colour' have the opportunity to see a palette and a paintbox belonging to Joseph Mallord William Turner – and later this autumn, Mike Leigh's much-awaited film 'Mr. Turner' will be released.

At this event the film's production designer, Suzie Davies, talks about how Turner’s colour palette and style influenced the look of the film, while fine artist Charlie Cobb discusses imitating Turner's style. The event will feature some short clips from the film.
