The Rapture

by Stuart Wolpert

From the Film Maker...

I feel that the use of primary colours in Christ's raiment reflected his vibrant personality and spirit. The artist focused on the simplicity of the subject. He seems to portray both the humanity and the divine aspects of Christ.

The theme of my film is 'The voice of God can be heard everywhere' - Jesus recognized the divinity in all things. I used a similar posture to the painting, when Christ raises his right hand in blessing at the end of the film.
