From the Film Maker...
My film takes the building blocks of shots, fragments them and puts them together to create a whole. You can recognize the individual building blocks just as you can make out the identity of the fragmented objects in the painting.
I interpret Picasso's painting to be the figure of a woman playing a violin as if it were a guitar. The figure's formed from inanimate objects. It made me think of an artist surrounded by objects that inspire her. For the artist in my film, her imagination, reality and the objects in her house are interconnected. This inspires her work.
