From the Film Maker...
The image of the Devil reminded me of Spike from the Gremlins movies and it made me think about what young children think about when they look at the art in the gallery: how certain images will make their imaginations run wild and evoke stories in their minds which are totally different to the intended message.
The Gremlins connection led me to think about Steven Spielberg (the film's executive producer) and how his films affect children in the same way as the paintings. This is why the boy in my film has such an over-active imagination. Chris Stones
