The Director's Tour
Former Director of the National Gallery, Charles Saumarez Smith, has chosen twenty-five paintings from across the Collection to create an audio tour.
The selection takes in works from a range of periods and styles, from some of the oldest to some of the most recent works in the Gallery. There are some famous names and some lesser-known paintings.
The tour takes the listener behind the scenes to talk to a range of gallery staff from curators, to scientists, conservators and gallery assistants.
