Painting of the MonthJMW Turner, 'The Fighting Temeraire', 1839 The Battle of Trafalgar took place 200 years ago this month. Turner's paintings of one of the ships that won victory that day, the 'Temeraire', is a fascinating part of the history and mythology of Trafalgar.
