After ten years, the Greeks hatched a plan to finally win the war. They built a wooden horse, which they left as an offering to the goddess Athene, then sailed away from Troy.

The Trojans took the horse into their city to offer at their own Temple of Athene. In the midst of the celebrations, Greek soldiers burst out of the wooden horse and finally succeeded in conquering Troy.
