Jan Lingelbach
1622 - 1674
Lingelbach was born in Frankfurt; his family later moved to Amsterdam. He is said to have gone to France in 1642, and then to Rome. He returned to Amsterdam a decade later, where he worked for the rest of his life.
Lingelbach was a figure painter and probably contributed the figures to these pictures by Koninck and Wijnants in the Collection.
