Jan Baptist Weenix
1621 - before 1663
Weenix was born in Amsterdam, where he was taught. He became a pupil of Abraham Bloemaert in Utrecht. From about 1642 to 1647 he was in Italy, mainly in Rome. He then worked in Amsterdam and Utrecht. He was a landscape, still-life and portrait painter.
