Jacob Ochtervelt

Jacob Lucasz. Ochtervelt was born and worked in Rotterdam. He was a pupil of Nicolaes Berchem in Haarlem at the same time as Pieter de Hooch, and some of his early interiors are similar to de Hooch's. He was a genre painter.
