Cornelis van der Schalcke
1611 - 1671
Cornelis Symonsz. van der Schalcke was born, worked and died in Haarlem. There are few surviving works, and these are almost all landscapes. His later pictures such as 'An Extensive River Landscape' suggest that he knew the work of Philips Koninck.
