Group 2

Q: How does your appearance affect you?

A: It affects me in many ways. It makes me feel people are looking at me and thinking that I’m a horrible person, and that makes me feel grotesque.

Q: Why have you travelled to London, and what do you think of our city?

A: I have come in search of any medicine to help my illness, my disease.

Q: When people call you names, such as grotesque, how does that affect you, how do you feel inside?

A: Angry and upset. Sometimes I just want to end it all.

Q: Are you happy, and what makes you happy?

A: I am not happy. I hate my life. People hate me for the way I am.

Q: What is your illness called and how does it affect you?

A: Paget’s disease in my skull makes me have bone deformation.
