Exercise (Being Miss La La)

"Just take another moment to look at that, and then stand up. Think about what kind of feelings are going on with Miss La La. Or the mysterious person we don't know holding the rope. Or the audience, who we’re not seeing as well. Think about Miss La La. Shut your eyes, tip your head back as far as you can. Well, that's not too difficult, is it. Now stand on tiptoe. No, no, holding onto anything?! I didn't say hold on to things! OK? It's not easy, is it? So just stand there for a moment, with your eyes shut, thinking about what it must feel like to be suspended. OK, you can sit down now. That's P.E. over for the moment. Can you see... look at that picture again. Now, you were on your feet. Miss La La is having to balance, just with her teeth."
