He discusses his recent sales, his preference for the company of abstract expressionist painters when he is in New York, the New York Art scene in general, his summers in Falmouth, Mass., recovery from a pulmonary thrombosis, his New York studio and whether Philip Hendy knows any dealers in London who might be interested in his work.
