Includes David Addison’s notes on references in the Churchill Papers to modern British art and an extract from 'Memoir of F.O. Finch' published in 1865 which refers to Northwick along with a list of Finch paintings. There are also copies of the 1826 valuation of paintings at Connaught. Place list, the 1859 Inventory of Northwick Park – which excludes paintings – and letters to Lord Northwick (mainly from art dealer Henry George Eckford).
