Framed Daguerreotypes of James and Mary Robertson
A box sent to Commander Hugh Ladas Agnew, containing two cushioned cases with clasps containing framed daguerreotype of James and Mary Robertson (died 1860 and 1878 respectively), the paternal grandparents of Mrs Secker of Jersey. They resided in Clendry, near Stranraer, Scotland, and Mary was the cousin of Thomas Agnew, found of the family dealership.
The case containing Mary Robertson (née Agnew) also includes an earlier photograph of the couple and their two children.
