Letter from Ferdinand de Rothschild to Mr Agnew

Date 13 May 1884

Black edged letter (13 May 1884) from Ferdinand de Rothschild, written from 143 Piccadilly, to Mr Agnew stating that he has heard that "Schaffer's great picture of Dante and Beatrice is in some London collection." As Schaffer painted his mother, de Rothschild would like to see the work and requests that Agnew arrange this.
