Handwritten letter nd [c 1900-1920], written from Villa Black & White, Deauville, from Catherine D'Erlanger to Mr Agnew thanking him for a cheque for the sale of 'Portrait of Jenny Mudge' by Sir Thomas Lawrence and providing biographical details for the subject and family. She states that the vendors would also like to sell a portrait of Jenny Mudge's husband Richard Rosdew, painted by John Opie.
