Letter from Max Friedlaender to Mr Rothschild
Letter (19 Sep 1921) from Max Friedlaender to Mr [ ] Rothschild, providing his opinion on a photograph Rothschild has sent him asking if the work depicted is by Albrecht Dürer. Friedlaender believes it instead to be by Hans Burgkmair. A sepia photograph of the portrait of a man is included, dated 7 Jun 1912 written in German and signed by Friedlaender, stating that he believes it to be the work of Burgkmair.
