Description

A builders specification detailing the architect's requirements of each trade and for each room within the house. An accompanying envelope states that the architect of the house being built was E. Salomons, who also built the Agnew Gallery at 43 (later 39) Old Bond Street. The house may be Durrants (Croxley Green, Herts) built "for Woods of Christie, Mason & Woods" and bought by Charles Morland Agnew. Another possibility is that it is for "one of the Agnew houses on Eccles Old Road, Salford". Unfortunately, this document is missing the title page, and first two numbered pages.
