Description
A series of notebooks containing the monthly wages of employees (and the date received) who worked within the branches of Thos. Agnew & Sons (Dec 1885-Sep 1970). Employees are listed according to their assigned category (often dependent on the branch they were based in, or whether they were receiving a pension), and the number of categories fluctuated over time. For information re the categories within each volume please refer to the specific Wages Book description (NGA27/25/1-6).
The final volumes in this series contains the wage increases/reductions, and the month and year in which the employee left the firm, for those employed between 1 May 1922-20 Mar 2015 (refer to NGA27/25/7).
