A letter from the firm to the publisher of Pall Mall Magazine (marked private and copied on to letter book paper) on 26 Jan 1903. They request an apology to be published concerning the magazine's doubt of the authenticity of Gainsborough's "Duchess of Devonshire", which J.P. Morgan had purchased from Agnew's.
