- An inventory (or summary) of the stock books and accounts (entries are usually arranged by book number).
- Any debts owing by Thomas Agnew & Sons within wholesale accounts, Manchester accounts, Liverpool accounts (from 1859) and miscellaneous accounts. The name of account, amount owing is, and sometimes the date is recorded. In addition, entries within 'wholesale accounts' include the page numbers each debt appears on within an (unidentified) 'A' Ledger.
- Acceptances (debts requiring payment within a set time period) running inclusive of the stated date.
- Any deductions from stock (from 1859).

The way this information has been recorded varies throughout the volume, and by 1862 it has been split into debits (wholesale, Manchester and miscellaneous accounts foound on the left-hand page) and credits (summary of stock account on the right-hand page).
