Offering opinion on the potential acquisition of a Rembrandt that is being offered for sale by P. & D. Colnaghi. Burton argues that the picture may be worth acquiring, as it is of art historic value regardless of the fact that it is not of the same quality as other Rembrandt works already in the National collection.
