Submitting remarks regarding the Treasury decision to exclude the office of Keeper & Secretary of the National Gallery from those to
which Clause IV of the 1859 Superannuation Act applies. Suggesting that the position does come under the conditions of the Clause, in
particular the requirement for specialist art historical and literary knowledge and asking the Trustees to renew the recommendation made in their letter to the Treasury dated 1 August 1881
