Letter enclosing a copy of Gregory’s notice of motion regarding the state of
pictures in the gallery. Suggests the blistering to which it refers has already
been noted by Burton in works such as Ortolano’s ‘Saints Sebastian, Roch and
Demitrius, and Garofalo’s ‘The vision of Saint Augustine. Discussion of repairs
to Wynn Ellis room and Turner Gallery and the relocation of certain pictures of
the British school.
