Letter to L.G. Goguel [?]
|Date||16 Jan 1880|
Eastlake asked the relevant curator whether Goguel would be able to have a place as a copyist in front of the pictures she is interested in without causing too much inconvenience. The curator expressed doubts on this matter, and Eastlake could then not find Goguel in the Gallery to discuss the situation with her. If Goguel is in the Gallery on Friday Eastlake would be able to talk to her then. It is difficult to make exceptions to the rules governing copyists as they are authorized by the Trustees.
