A workman looking at the small hole in the lawn of the National Gallery where a bomb is believed to be embedded. Caption: 'Officers from the headquarters of the Royal Engineers are to make a preliminary examination of the lawn in front of the National Gallery, following a report that an unexploded bomb is believed to be embedded there.'
