Photograph of an Illustration form 'Country Life' 8 May 1920. The Rooms are hung with early Italian pictures including Raphael's 'The Ansidei Madonna' (NG1171) in Room 37; and Francesco Francia's Altarpiece (NG179) and Costa and Maineri's Altarpiece (NG1119) are in the Dome. There is no relief in the lunette of Room 37. A lamp hangs from the centre of the Dome. Copy photograph: National Gallery. Neg. M336.
