Press releases produced by the Press Office in connection with significant events at the Gallery, including exhibitions, new acquisitions, restoration of paintings, senior staff changes and the employment of resident artists. Certain press releases are photocopies of the originals, these are indicated in the catalogue. Some earlier press releases (1920s) may be found in the NG68 letters series.
