Letter from Judith Jeffreys, Assistant Director of the Tate, to Mrs A.M. Bleecker explaining that her proposed gift of pictures should be presented to the National Gallery rather than the Tate. Letters accepting the gift of five pictures, sent to Mrs Bleecker from Lord Anan (Chairman) and Michael Levey (Director). Correspondence between Michael Wilson (Assistant Keeper) and Mrs Bleecker arranging viewing of pictures and their collection from Mrs Bleecker's home. Correspondence between Michael Levey and Mrs Bleecker concerning arrangements for an evening reception to view the pictures, press release announcing gift dated 23 March 1981.
