Correspondence with Janson Cobb Pearson organizing delivery of the picture to the National Gallery and its inpection by the Trustees prior to official acceptance. Correspondence between Gregory Martin (Assistant Keeper) and A.G. Fast (step-son of Argenti) detailing the timescale for exhibition of the bequest and the removal of two birds from the picture due to the fact that tests had established they were a later addition to the work and therefore not produced by Ruysdael.
