New Media Update

£500,000 from American Express

American Express Foundation is generously supporting a new Micro Gallery system for £500,000, following their support for the original pioneer Micro Gallery in the new Sainsbury Wing in 1991. The new state-of-the-art system will reflect the improvements in multimedia and interpretation of the collection since 1991. It will be much easier for visitors to use, with freshly designed screens and new machines available, both in the refurbished Sainsbury Wing space and elsewhere in the Gallery.
