The East Wing: Sir Paul Getty Entrance

Opening the Sir Paul Getty Entrance to the public created a new entrance off Trafalgar Square, which provided access at street level to the Main Building for all visitors for the first time.

A platform lift is available to take wheelchair users between pavement level and Level 0.

A draught lobby formed by glazed doors greatly enhances visibility of the interior from Trafalgar Square.
