The East Wing: Espresso Bar

The Gallery's new Espresso bar and multimedia room is a key feature of the East Wing development.

Here visitors can relax, meet friends and drink coffee. The room also benefits from the addition of fourteen ArtStart terminals, offering interactive information about the entire collection on touch-screen computers. The inclusion of ArtStart screens in this informal space gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about the collection at their leisure in comfortable and relaxed surroundings.

The Espresso bar is in the area formerly known as Lower Hall on Level 0 directly below Central Hall. It links the lower gallery space in the west side and is accessed from the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Court.
